Valuer Terms & Conditions

These terms govern participation in the Property Valuations Tarneit valuer network by registered valuers.

1. Eligibility

Network members must hold current registration or certification appropriate to their state or territory, maintain professional indemnity insurance at the level we specify, and keep both current at all times.

2. Independence

Valuers must decline any assignment where independence could be compromised — including prior dealings with the property, the client, or a related party — and must disclose potential conflicts before accepting an order.

3. Professional standards

Reports must be prepared to applicable professional standards and to the evidentiary standard the stated purpose requires (e.g. SISR 8.02B for SMSF reports). The evidence pack we supply is an input; judgement and certification remain the valuer’s own.

4. Turnaround commitments

Accepted desktop orders are to be completed within the published turnaround (usually same day, 48 hours maximum). Valuers unable to meet a deadline must release the order for reassignment immediately.

5. Fees & payment

Fees per completed report are set out in the current fee schedule and paid weekly. Valuers are independent professionals, not employees or agents of Property Valuations Tarneit.

6. Quality review

Reports are subject to periodic quality review. Repeated failures of review, lapsed registration or insurance, or breach of independence requirements result in removal from the network.
